This piece has been forged from a WWII-era armed forces brass shell casing. It is of the very highest quality United States Government brass. The projectile would have been used in an artillery weapon, and the casing was most likely brought back as a souvenir. Textured and highlighted to show off the decades-old patina. The ring is stamped with the casing’s original date of manufacture.
