his Money clip was crafted from a section of auxiliary hydraulic tank for the P-38 lightning fighter aircraft. The Aluminum tank, part number: 249014, was assembled and welded at the SoCal defense plant in California in 1944 or 1945. I have complete documentation on the part including factory sketches and matching military parts manuals. It is authentic. I provide a signed certificate of authenticity with each piece. The piece is hand stamped with the original information. All edges have been sanded and polished. A light bio wax has been applied to the surface and hand buffed.
